From fdf66ebb177e189479057ebe4e1124251c0116c3 Mon Sep 17 00:00:00 2001 From: Iain Patterson Date: Thu, 3 Feb 2011 00:22:30 +0000 Subject: [PATCH] Try to kill the process tree gracefully. Before calling TerminateProcess() on all processes assocatiated with the monitored application, enumerate all windows and threads and post appropriate messages to them. If the application bothers to listen for such messages it has a chance to shut itself down gracefully. If the application ignores this chance to do the right thing it's fair game for termination. --- messages.mc | 18 ++++++++- nssm.h | 11 ++++++ process.cpp | 105 +++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++- process.h | 9 +++++ service.cpp | 2 +- 5 files changed, 141 insertions(+), 4 deletions(-) diff --git a/messages.mc b/messages.mc index 19cee3c..c92daa3 100644 --- a/messages.mc +++ b/messages.mc @@ -181,7 +181,7 @@ kill_process_tree %1 %2 %3 .
